The Goal by Eliyahu M. Goldratt and Jeff Cox

I recently finished "The Goal". It is a great book on pull vs push manufacturing optimization. Here is what I want to remember from this book:

* Optimize the whole not parts
* The Goal is to make money
* focus on bottle necks, increase their capacity, drive the system by their schedule, distribute their load
* Inventory/Queuing is waste
* Use small uniform batch sizes
